This will need user preferences to be implemented first. Depends a little how that gets done, and how we split this between the back end and the front end, this may not need much work on the back end. Possibly none at all.

Description

The location menu on items and holdings could get very long. It would be nice if it could be tailored to display those locations that are commonly needed by the logged in user.

Ideally, the set of favorite locations would be created by the user themselves (rather than, say, being inferred from the location specified in the user record).
Favorites could be set in user preferences or in the location menu itself, somehow.
Need to determine how these would display in the menu - perhaps favorites just display at the top? Or only the favorites display with the ability to expand to view others.

NOTE: This feature was suggested by Siska Humlesjö at Chalmers and hasn't yet been discussed with the SIGs
