Instance schema changes (possible) (Ramsons)

NOTE: This feature requires further definition and requirements work in coordination with other teams. Current plan is to continue planning during Quesnelia so we can tackle in Ramsons.

Current situation or problem: Still to be determined - does the instance schema need any changes, to allow for more detail and differentiation, especially in relation to LC migration. Must be determined ASAP, since this affects several other apps
