    Description

      Current situation or problem:

The team has decided to split the work of managing the contribution of Bib and Item records to the INN-Reach central server from FOLIO into two phases. Phase one will implement the initial, "all bibs" contribution process that will evaluate all of the instance and associated item records in FOLIO to determine whether they should be made available to central servers to which the FOLIO tenant has a configured connection. This should allow us to begin more significant testing of the process and start work on the circulation flow more quickly.

      In scope

      • Process for evaluating Instance and Item records to determine eligibility for contribution
      • Process for enumerating records for evaluation
      • Record transformation process
      • Required settings
      • UI to initiate initial record contribution process
      • Basic logging and error handling

      Out of scope

      • Ongoing contribution of newly-added records
      • Update of existing records
      • Decontribution (removal) of records from the central server
      • Enhanced job monitoring (statistics, detailed logging, etc.)
      • Enhanced UI for managing record contribution jobs
