    Description

      • Folio UI should never use an image/icon/color alone to convey an action/or as an indicator.
      • Folio UI should ensure images/icons have alt text or some level of description that can be read by a screenreader.
      • If using color to convey an action then must provide an explanation when read by a screenreader

      Feature Goals

      • The feature is more of a NFR
      • Ensure that the above requirements are understood by developers, designers, and POs.
      • Conduct Accessibility Testing (Summer 2018) to determine any defects
      • Request Accessibility SIG this summer to review Folio to determine any issues tied to above requirements
      • Select a tool for developers to verify alt tags
