      Description

      Current situation or problem:
Orders and Receiving apps can change item status, but only in certain cases:

      • When the order for an item with the item status On order is closed, the item status changes to Order closed
      • When an item with the item status On order or Order closed is received, the item status changes to In process

Closing orders and receiving items does not affect the item status of items with any other statuses besides the ones listed above. This will also be true for custom item statuses (UXPROD-1535)

      In scope

      • Configure whether closing an order changes a custom item status or built-in item status to Order closed (like the non-custom On order status) or not
      • Configure whether receiving an item changes a custom item status or built-in item status to In process (like it does for the non-custom On order status) or not
