Description
Users want more flexibility when searching. The scope of this feature is to add a Query search option to Requests analogous to the one in Inventory. This would allow users to make use of CQL to search requests using:
- boolean operators - Using AND, OR, NOT in the simple search box
- exact phrase - using quotation marks around the phrase
- nested search - using brackets
- right truncation - using asterisk at end of word
A separate UXPROD has been added for adding this capability to the Users app: UXPROD-1015
We'd need to modify the search pane a bit to accomodate a second search type. I think it would look something like this ("Query search" would be the other option in the menu which is currently displaying "Keyword search")
