      Description

      Ability to add custom fields to records in Inventory (Instance, Holdings, Item). Custom fields has been developed to the Users app. This is highly sought after by the SMEs and early implementer libraries.

      Inventory requires custom fields to support

      • Data Migration: Given each ILS provider has unique fields it is critical we support custom fields to ensure that all valuable data is migrated to Folio.
      • Affiliation/Statistical groupings
      • Workflow
      • Interaction with locally used 3rd party systems
