    • We are assuming there will be schema refactoring and the basic implementation of the BL module as well as cleanup for test data etc. Essentially the bulk of the technical debt for the Finance app is being considered in this estimate.

    Description

      Problem: Needs the ability to allocate money to different functions and domains of the library and keep track how much they are spending in each fiscal year. The structure will not mirror that of the accounting system, but must provide a platform for communicating spending activities to it and relating the internal (FOLIO) fund structure with that of an external accounting department. The objects will also need to relate to each other in specific ways that allow for the enforcement of hierarchies on the allocation and expenditure of monies.

      Overview: Create Ledgers, Funds, Budgets and Fiscal Years in order to plan, manage and capture a record of spending activities.
