I don't think there is any back end work associated with cloning a location (@zburke)

I agree. For the back end, the cloning operation is just a get of the original, some changes in the UI, and a POST of the new record. (-heikki)

The ability to clone a location within Settings.

When you have to create a bunch of new locations within a given library, cloning a location would save a lot of time.
