Description
Purpose: UX review of the current state of FOLIO in which some forms require explicit save while others auto-save. Is this inconsistency okay?
Forms that require explicit save:
- User
- Item
- Settings forms for controlled vocab CRUD such as Material Type, Loan Type, Patron Group and Address Type
Forms that auto-save:
- In Settings:
- Scan > Loan policies
- Users > Permission sets
We are actually running into some issues with the auto-saving forms. Please see UIS-78 and UIU-92 (read comments). I'm thinking we should require a save consistently but would like UX perspective.
