UX: Record Created, Last Updated and Source

    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    Description

We need an indication of when the user record was created, who it was created by (might be a system as opposed to a person) and when it was last updated and by whom (again, may be a system). This data should be read-only and should have the date and timestamp.

NOTE: Eventually Filip would like us to implement what he calls "Change Tracker":

      • It would basically be a modal with a table that shows a sidebar where you can filter on: Full record (any field), Field X, Field Y, Field Z.
      • On the right we’d then show a table with: old value, new value, time stamp, reason for change, changed by
      • He suggests the “view change history” button should be in close proximity to the prominent “last changed” section
Designing the Change Tracker is out of scope for this story, but I wanted you to be aware that it is planned. You could make room for the button, as Filip suggests.

This should probably be done along with UX-40
