Library staff want to be able to search custom fields.
Depending on the type of custom field, it may be searched as a string in the text entry box, or as a filter similar to tags for a single or multiselect
User story statement(s):
As a library staff member
I want to search in the user record
so that I can see the users that contain the specified text.
If the custom field is a radio button or select field see UIU 2170
- Given that a text field (either "text" or "text area")has been defined as a custom field
- When the text is entered in the box labeled Keyword (name, email, identifier), a drop down will be seen labeled "Custom Fields"
- When the Custom Fields index is chosen, and a text string entered i.e. a patron's campus-wide ID, G1076789
- Then the record or records that match the text will be displayed.
