    Description

      Overview:

      • The wrong error message is displaying on the Pay Fee/Fine, Waive Fee/Fine and Transfer Fee/Fine modals when a user fails to select a value from the drop-down menu for the required field (Payment methods, Waive reason or Transfer account). The error message indicates that none exist, but in fact they do. The correct error message is : 'Select one to continue'.
      • This worked at one point, but doesn't work in Goldenrod or Honeysuckle. I don't have access to Fameflower. I didn't notice it was wrong until I was testing Honeysuckle for BugFest.

      Steps to Reproduce:

      • Watch attached video Wrong-error-messages.mp4.

      Summary:

      • If the user clicks on the Payment method drop-down on the Pay Fee/Fine modal, but fails to select one of the payment methods listed, the error 'No Payment methods exist for Fee/fine owner' appears. This is not correct given payment methods are appearing in the drop-down list. The error message should be: 'Select one to continue'. (The error message 'No Payment methods exist for Fee/fine owner' is still valid if there are no payment methods available to display in the drop-down list.)
      • If the user clicks on the Waive reason drop-down on the Waive Fee/Fine modal, but fails to select one of the waive reasons listed, the error 'No Waive reasons exist' appears. This is not correct given waive reasons are appearing in the drop-down list. The error message should be: 'Select one to continue'. (The error message 'No Waive reasons exist' is still valid if there are no waive reasons available to display in the drop-down list.)
      • If the user clicks on the Transfer account drop-down on the Transfer Fee/Fine modal, but fails to select one of the transfer accounts listed, the error 'No Transfer accounts exist for Fee/fine owner' appears. This is not correct given transfer accounts are appearing in the drop-down list. The error message should be: 'Select one to continue'. (The error message 'No Transfer accounts exist for Fee/fine owner' is still valid if there are no transfer accounts available to display in the drop-down list.)
