Update: It appears that only fee/fine owner RA SIG Test is having this problem.
When a Fee/fine owner has a Default Charge Notice set, the New fee/fine page will default to sending a notice right when the Fee/fine owner is selected. When a Fee/fine owner has a Default Action Notice set, the various action modals (pay, waive, transfer, cancel) will also default to sending a notice right when the modal is opened. While testing for Bugfest we found a case where a Fee/fine owner (RA SIG Test) does not have Default Charge Notice or Default Action Notice set, but FOLIO is behaving as if they do.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Select a user of your choice
- From within User Information, open the Fee/Fine section and press the Create fee/fine button
- On the New fee/fine page, select Fee/fine owner RA SIG Test
- Do not enter any other information
This works properly for two other Fee/fine owners that do not have 'default' settings (Cornelia Test, Main Circ Desk) and one that does (Holly Fee/Fine Owner). I didn't check them all.
