FE | Linked bib fields | Derive a new MARC bibliographic record handling

As a cataloger, I want to decide if I want to keep my bib fields linked to authority record when I derive a record. So I do not have to link multiple times. 

Requirements

• Only display this modal (see above mockup) when user has at least one bib field linked

• This modal displays once the user hits the Derive a new MARC bib action

Modal messaging 

• Modal header:  Remove authority linking
• Modal message: Do you want to remove authority linking for this new bibliographic record? 
• Primary button: Remove linking 
• Secondary button: Keep linking

If user hits Remove linking then

• Remove all links and $9 values for each previously linked bib fields
• All previous linked bib fields values are retained AND are not controlled (also known as able to edit) 
• All MARC subfields will display in a single textbox 
• May need to display a Loading indicator if it may take some time to update. Lets discuss.

If user hits Keep linking then

• Keep all bib fields linked and $9 values for each previously linked bib fields.
• All linked bib fields controlled by authority record will remain read-only 
• All linked bib fields NOT controlled by authority record will remain editable
• All linked bib fields $0 will remain read-only
• All linked bib fields will continue to display controlled and not controlled subfields in separate boxes (also known as the same display as the record this bib record is derived/copied from)
• May need to display a Loading indicator if it may take some time to update. Lets discuss. 

Using Esc key

• A user can use the Esc key to close the modal. By hitting the Esc key it is the same as taking the Keep linking action.

User has a Derive a new MARC bib field permission assigned but does not have the Linked/Unlink bib field to authority record permission assigned 

• Do not show this modal 
• Just allow for the user to proceed with deriving the MARC bib record with authority linking kept. 
• And user will continue to not see the link/unlink icons for eligible bib fields.
