Description
Purpose: To change the edit vendor screen into an edit organizations screen, to clean up some of the text, and to suppress vendor-specific accordions when they are not needed.
As a staff person
I want to be able to edit organizations in FOLIO and designate some of them as vendors
So that I can enter necessary information for vendors, but not have that additional information required for non-vendor organizations.
NOTE: revised the changes slightly 10 April, based on conversations with e-folks (moving two accordions around, and renaming one of them). Updated wireframes attached.
Scenarios
- Scenario 1
- Given the Organizations (previously Vendor) app
- When a User clicks the Edit button for an existing Organization
- Then a revised Edit organization screen should be displayed.
- NOTE: See exact revisions in attached Edit Organization screen changes.pdf file
- Summary of the changes
- Replace generic wording of Vendor with Organization
- Add a checkbox in the top accordion to indicate whether an organization is a vendor. See Scenarios below for how this checkbox affects accordion display and required fields
- Move the Agreements and Interfaces accordions
- Rename the Agreements accordion (to reduce the confusion with the Agreements app)
- Remove the vendor category check boxes from the Vendor Info accordion
- Fix remaining case problems
- Fix remaining wording problems
- Remove + signs from buttons
- Scenario 2
- Given the Edit Organizations screen
- When the "Vendor" checkbox is unchecked, and no change has been made to it
- Then suppress the Vendor information, Vendor terms, EDI information, and Accounts accordions from display
- And do not make any of the elements in those accordions required when saving the updated organization record
- Scenario 3
- Given the Edit Organizations screen
- When the "Vendor" checkbox is checked, and no change has been made to it
- Then show all accordions (unsuppress the Vendor information, Vendor terms, EDI information, and Accounts accordions)
- And impose the required data elements as indicated in those accordions before an updated Organization record can be saved
- Scenario 4
- Ensure automated testing coverage for this new code is 80% plus and confirm with screenshot
