Description
Purpose: To allow a user to remove extra product IDs that were imported from an Inventory Instance, without losing the connection to the Instance
As a staff person creating an order
I want to be able to remove some of the product identifiers that were imported from the Inventory Instance without losing the link to the Instance
So that I can remove extraneous product IDs before finalizing the order.
Scenarios
- Scenario 1
- Given the POL Create/Edit screen
- When the user imports item data from Inventory (by pressing the + button next to the Title field and selecting an Instance)
- And deletes any/all Product IDs by pressing the trashcan icon next to the product ID
- Then do NOT remove the Instance UUID from the POL; do not break the link between the Instance and the POL
- And allow holdings/items to be added to the linked Instance, based on the POL's Create inventory setting
- Scenario 2
- Given the POL Create/Edit screen
- When the user imports item data from Inventory (by pressing the + button next to the Title field and selecting an Instance)
- And manually adds any Product ID to the POL
- Then remove the Instance UUID from the POL and break the link between the Instance and the POL
- Scenario 3
- Ensure automated testing coverage for this new code is 80% plus and confirm with screenshot
