    Description

Overview: Adding new instance record with associated holdings, and item record can be done by non catalogers, e.g. circulations staff, when checking out material not being registered in the collection. Circulation staff then use a fast add template to create a brief instance record, with holdings and item data. The template can be accessed through the check out screen, the action menu.

      Use cases:

      1. Circulation staff:
        • Personal copy of items to be circulated for course reserve
        • A piece of an item scanned in for course reserve
        • Item needed to circulate before cataloging can be done
      1. Course Reserve staff:
        • Personal copy of items to be circulated for course reserve
        • A piece of an item scanned in for course reserve

      Scenarios:

      1. Scenarios
        • Given the Actions menu over the results list in Inventory
        • When opened
        • Then a "New fast add record" option should be available per screenshot
      2. Scenarios
        • Given the "New fast add record" option
        • When clicked
        • Then the fast add form defined in UIIN-907 should be opened
