Inventory. Search by Item Accession number (Item segment)

Purpose: Accession number is an element in both the Holdings record, and the Item record. This story is about implementing the ability to search on the Item accession number from the search box in the First pane. This story relates to the umbrella story UIIN-112, listing all Search options in Inventory (instance | holdings | item).

Scenarios:

1. Scenario
   • Go to FOLIO Snapshot, go to the Inventory app, and select the Item segment.
     
   • Given the Search Box in the first pane
   • When click on the select list for search options following list is displayed:
     • Keyword (title, contributor, identifier)
     • Barcode
     • ISBN
     • ISSN
     • Accession number (item)
     • Effective call number (item), keyword
       • Effective call number (item), eye readable
       • Effective call number (item), normalized
     • Enumeration, chronology (NEW)
     • Volume (NEW)
     • Copy number (item) (NEW)
     • Item notes
     • Circulation notes
     • Item identifier (all) (NEW)
     • Former identifier (all)
       • Former item ID
     • PO line number (NEW) Not MVP
     • Item HRID (NEW)
     • Item UUID (NEW)
     • Query language (NEW)
       
2. Scenario
   • When selecting Accession number (item) as search term in the search box
   • and enter a given Item accession number (an existing accession number)
   • Then (for MVP) the given result (Instance record, with associated holdings, and item records) is displayed - just like implemented for search on barcode.
3. Scenario
   • When selecting accession number as search option in the search box
   • and enter an Item accession number (which does not exist in the FOLIO Snapshot environment)
   • Then following error message is shown as a pop up: No results found for accession number (item) 123456. Please check your spelling.
4. Scenario
   • When searching on accession number
   • Then the search is performed on accession number data element in the Item record - CQL query: item.accessionNumber = "123456".
5. Senario
   • When entering a search query
   • Then it can be
     • alphanumeric (1-9, a-z, A-Z, diacritics)
     • right truncated with asterisk
     • include special characters as () and other symbols - same implementation as for search on barcode (UIIN-143)
