      Description

Purpose: Create a permission that allows users to delete an instance record.

      Scenarios:

      1. Scenario
        • Login to FOLIO Snapshot
        • Given the Inventory module
        • When enabled
        • Then a logical permission should be provided called "Inventory: Delete instances"
      2. Scenario
        • Given User A has been given the permission "Inventory: Delete instances"
        • When User A accesses FOLIO
        • Then:
          • The Inventory app should be visible in the top navigation bar
          • The drop down action menu for the instance record will be (in that order, all actions are active, and set in black text):
            • Edit
            • Duplicate
            • Delete
            • View source (only if there is an underlying source record, e.g. a MARC record in SRS)
          • Inventory app should be fully accessible to User A, meaning User A can:
            • Search and filter instance, holdings and item records
            • View Instance record in detailed screen
            • View associated holdings records in detailed screen
            • View associated item records in detailed screen
            • Create instance records by click on 'New'
            • Edit instance records by click on Pen icon or use the action drop down menu. Click on Edit
            • Create new instance by duplicate of an existing record - using the action drop down menu. Click on Duplicate
            • View and create the instance record in Edit mode
            • Save and update the created instance record
            • Delete any instance - using the action drop down menu. Click on Delete
      3. Scenario
        • Given User A has been given the permission "Inventory: Delete instances" as part of a custom permission set
        • When User A accesses FOLIO
        • Then User A should have all rights normally conferred by this permission (see scenario 2) plus whatever additional rights conferred by the users custom permission set.

      Note:
There are separate stories for Permission for deletion of holdings (UIIN-707) and deletion of items (UIIN-708)
