Purpose: Many item records are similar (same location, material type etc), and beside the
possibility to duplicate item, and use FOLIO defined templates, then Chalmers has asked for having the possibility to configure their individual Item templates to make creating of item records tailored to their local needs, and make work easier, when adding items.
Usecase: For item records the staff user define different templates which dictate:
- which fields should be included in the new item record
- which should be pre-filled, and
- which should be prompted for input.

Note to self:
dennisbridges and kkester are working on UX wireframes for customizable templates for the order records. The tenant is to define these templates in Settings (App Interaction meeting 5/3/2019). This work will be ready in a couple of weeks. The UX for configuring templates in Inventory (Instance, Holdings, and Item) should be aligned with this on-going work in Orders -
