Clone an Instance v1

Purpose: To begin work on instance records in FOLIO. The scope of this story is copy cataloguing, which is the process of building upon an original instance record. Out of scope is copy cataloging of a record from an external resource like OCLC's WorldCat etc.

Scenarios:

1. Scenario
   • Given the Inventory app
   • When displayed
   • Then when selecting an instance record in the results pane, then the detailed instance record is shown in the 3rd pane.
   • When viewing the selected detailed instance record the "Copy" button should be visible and aligned together with the 'New' button.
2. Scenario
   • Given the "Copy" button
   • When clicked
   • Then the given detailed instance record would be cloned
   • The create Instance form should display as an overlay
3. Scenario
   • Given the copied instance record in the create instance form
   • When displayed
   • Then the form should contain all the copied data elements from the original instance record
   • With the data from the original instance record.
   • # Scenario
   • Given the copied instance record in the create instance form
   • When displayed
   • Then the form should be editable, and it's possible to edit data cloned of the original record
   • And it is possible to add metadata elements which are repeatable and/or elements which are not in the original record.
4. Scenario
   • Given the copied instance record in the create instance form
   • When all changes of the copied record are done
   • The "Save" button is clicked, and the record is saved, and a system created FOLIO instance-id is given
5. Scenario
   • Given data entered on Create instance record form is valid
   • When saved
   • Then:
     • The new instance record overlay is closed
     • Instance detail record is displayed
     • The new Instance ID is populated on the new Instance record
6. Scenario
   • Given the copied, edited, and saved record in the create instance form
   • Then the 3rd pane will show the detailed instance record of the new record
