Create a MARC Holdings Record

As a cataloger
I want to create a MARC holdings record via quickMARC
So I can add a record easily when needed

Mockup - Instance Actions menu includes Add MARC holdings record option

NOTE - we can create a separate story for re-organizing the Actions menu options order

Select Add MARC holdings record option requirements

Given user has quickMARC: Create a new MARC holdings record permission assigned
When s/he expands the instance's Action menu dropdown
Then display [Add a MARC holdings record] option

Given I select [Add a MARC holdings record] option
Then display a quickMARC form in full pane

Add a MARC Holdings record via quickMARC page requirements

• Create a new MARC Holdings record
• Record status: New

Upon clicking on Add a new MARC holdings record, the following outlines default behavior

MARC holdings logic and rules

• Create a new holdings record must comply with logic and rules outlined https://wiki.folio.org/pages/viewpage.action?spaceKey=FOLIJET&title=MARC+Holdings+-+System+updates+and+quickMARC+validation+rules
• MARC 852 is required: user must have one MARC 852 to successfully create a MARC holdings and Inventory holdings records

Save & Close route behavior

• When user clicks Save & Close button then create the Inventory FOLIO Holdings record and route user to the Inventory FOLIO Holdings record view
• Cancel returns to the previous page

Toast Notification(s)

• quickMARC and Inventory holdings records created
