Linking to item details slow and displays pages in between

    Description

      Steps to repro:

      1. Log into snapshot-stable
      2. Go to a user with loan data
      3. Go to Loans page (open loans) for that user
      4. Open the ellipses and select to view the item details

      Expected: Item details should open right away

      Actual: It takes a couple seconds for item details to open and flashes inventory, instance etc along the way
      NEW BUG: UIU-871 is preventing the repro of this bug...

      Additional info: I am sure this same thing happens anytime you are linking from a record to the associated item details (e.g. from a request or from the checkout page or the check in page).
