      Description

Purpose: Sometimes, particularly when testing, you want to quickly copy barcodes without having to drill into the item detail record. It would be nice if you could copy the barcode from the instance record. I should be able to do so without opening up the detail record

Usecase (Chalmers, May 2019): As a staff person, I want to be able to copy the barcode number from the item summary data instead of clicking into the item record. So that I can copy the barcode as quickly and with as few clicks as possible.

      Scenarios:

      1. Scenario
        • Login to FOLIO Snapshot, go to Inventory
        • Go to any given instance record in detailed view, drill down to the Holdings according,
        • When viewing the list of items
        • Then a copy icon is positioned to the right of item barcode
        • See UX mock up:
      2. Scenario
        • When click on the copy icon
        • Then the barcode is being copied into the clipboard, and can be pasted into any enter box in FOLIO (in any apps), or other documents like text documents, spreadsheets, slide decks, etc.) the user has access to

      Other comments:
In the UX the barcode is displayed as clickable. This is a separate story - see: UIIN-660.
