    Description

      As a cataloger
I want to edit my library's MARC Holdings records via FOLIO
So I can manage all my records in MARC via FOLIO

      Assumption

      • Backend development required

      Requirements

      • If a Holdings record's source = MARC then under Action menu display a Edit in quickMARC option with the pencil icon (NOTE this is no different from the Edit in quickMARC option displayed on Instance record)
      • This option should display after View Source option
      • This option only displays based on permission (will create a separate story)
      • If a user selects Edit in quickMARC then display MARC holdings record in quickMARC

      quickMARC MARC holdings validation rules

      See https://wiki.folio.org/display/FOLIJET/MARC+Holdings+-+System+updates+and+quickMARC+validation+rules

      quickMARC MARC holdings

      • Overall no change in quickMARC functionality. We just need to make sure we are complying with quickMARC MARC holdings validation rules as outlined above and the requirements noted below for Leader and 008
      • Paneheader requirements
        • First line: Edit MARC holdings - <<TBD>>
        • Second line: Record status: <<MARC holdings record status>> * Record last updated and time: <<last updated date and time stamp>> * Source: <<last name of user who last updated>>, <<first name of user who last updated>>
