      Description

      Purpose: Allow users to configure whether a custom item status can be changed from the item record in Inventory and whether items with other statuses can have their item status change to that value.

      Scenarios

      1. Scenario
        • Given the Edit or New status form
        • When open
        • Then show the Apps accordion
      2. Scenario
        • Given the Apps accordion on the Edit or New status form
        • When open
        • Then show the Inventory settings
          • Heading: Inventory
          • Checkbox: Change item status from this value on item record
          • Checkbox: Change item status to this value on item record
      3. Scenario
        • Given the Statuses section of Inventory settings
        • When viewing a custom item status
        • Then show the open Apps accordion, with inactive checkboxes under Inventory
      4. Scenario
        • Given an item with custom item status X with “Change item status from this value on item record” not checked in the custom item status form
        • When the actions menu is open on the item record
        • Then do not show the following options:
          • Mark as missing
          • Mark as withdrawn
          • Mark as <custom item status Y, if that status has Change item status to this value on item record>
      5. Scenario
        • Given an item with custom item status X with “Change item status from this value on item record” checked in the custom item status form
        • When the actions menu is open on the item record
        • Then show the following:
          • Mark as missing
          • Mark as withdrawn
          • Mark as <custom item status Y, if that status has Change item status to this value on item record>
      6. Scenario
        • Given an option to change item status in the action menu
        • When clicked
        • Then allow the item status to be changed to that value
      7. Scenario
        • Given an item with custom item status X with “Change item status to this value on item record” checked in the custom item status form
        • When the actions menu is open for any of the following item statuses:
          • In process
          • Available
          • In transit
          • Awaiting pickup
          • Missing
          • Withdrawn
          • Lost and paid
          • Paged
          • Awaiting delivery
          • Order closed
        • Then show the option to Mark as <status X>
      8. Scenario
        • Given an item with custom item status X with “Change item status to this value on item record” checked in the custom item status form
        • When the actions menu is open for any item status:
        • Then do not show the option to Mark as <status X>
      9. Scenario
        • Given the Mark as <status X> option in the status menu
        • When selected
        • Then display a confirmation modal:
          • title of modal: Confirm item as <status X>
          • Text of modal: <title> (<material type>) (Barcode: <barcode>) will be marked as <status X>.
          • Modal buttons:
            • Cancel
            • Confirm
      10. Scenario
        • Given the confirmation modal
        • When the user clicks confirm
        • Then change the item status for the item to <status X> and update item status date
      11. Scenario
        • Given the confirmation modal
        • when the user clicks cancel
        • then do not change the item status
