Inventory freezes after 20 Load more-clicks

Steps to reproduce:

1. Search for "and" (the Swedish word for duck)
2. Scroll down the resutls list and click View more
3. Repeat step 2 ca 20 times

Expected result

Every time I click Load more, a new set of records is added to the display.

Actual result

This works fine for a while. The response times get gradually longer (starting at 700 ms, going up to 1.17 s) each time I click Load more, but remains below 1 second.
However, around the ~20th time I click Load more, Inventory does not return any more results but freezes completely. I get a Failed to fetch error.

I tried to reproduce this with a new search ("no"), but this time the response time lands in 36 seconds the first time I click Load more.
