      Description

Purpose: Add validation to the "Existing record" details

As a staff person creating data import match profiles
I want FOLIO to confirm that there are details in the "existing record" field(s)
So that I cannot create a match profile without them

      Scenarios

      1. Scenario 1
        • Given the "Existing record" details in the create/edit screen of the Settings/Data import/Match profiles
        • When a user creates or updates a match profile
        • And the "Existing record" details are for any non-MARC record formats (Instance, Holdings, Item, and eventually Invoice, Order)
        • And no field is selected
        • And the user presses "Save"
        • Then disallow the save
        • And outline the Existing record field in red
        • And add Please enter a value in red, under the field (the same formatting as is used for validation of the Incoming record details - see attached screenshot)
      2. Scenario 2
        • Given the "Existing record" details in the create/edit screen of the Settings/Data import/Match profiles
        • When a user creates or updates a match profile
        • And the "Existing record" details are for any MARC record formats (MARC Bib, and eventually MARC Holdings and MARC Authority)
        • And no Field is entered
        • And the user presses "Save"
        • Then disallow the save
        • And outline the Existing record field in red
        • And add Please enter a value in red, under the field (the same formatting as is used for validation of the Incoming record details - see attached screenshot)
      3. Scenario 3
        • Given the "Existing record" details in the create/edit screen of the Settings/Data import/Match profiles
        • When a user creates or updates a match profile
        • And the "Existing record" details are for any MARC record formats (MARC Bib, and eventually MARC Holdings and MARC Authority)
        • And the Field is any MARC field other than LDR, 001, 003, 005
        • And no Subfield is entered
        • And the user presses "Save"
        • Then disallow the save
        • And outline the Existing record Subfield in red
        • And add Please enter a value in red, under the field (the same formatting as is used for validation of the Incoming record details - see attached screenshot)
      4. Scenario 4
        • Given the "Existing record" details in the create/edit screen of the Settings/Data import/Match profiles
        • When a user creates or updates a match profile
        • And the "Existing record" details are for any MARC record formats (MARC Bib, and eventually MARC Holdings and MARC Authority)
        • And the Field is LDR, 001, 003, or 005
        • Then disallow the entry of any data in Ind1, Ind2, or Subfield
        • And outline the field in red
        • And add This field cannot be updated under the In1, In2, and/or Subfield field that has data in it (the same formatting as is used for validation of those MARC field in the incoming record section of the match details - see attached screenshot)
      5. Scenario 5
        • Ensure this story passes Accessibility testing
