Description
Purpose: To be able to block the upload of files whose file extensions are blocked in the settings ,and allow upload of files whose file extensions are allowed in the settings or not specified.
As a staff person
I want to be able to upload allowed file types and unspecified file types, but block the upload of disallowed file types
So that I do not waste time trying to assign jobs to unacceptable file types.
NOTE: see UIDATIMP-117 for the story covering disallowed file extensions
- Scenario 1
- Given the File upload section of the Data Import landing page and the Data Import File Extension settings
- If a User tries to upload a file with a file extension that has a setting of *Allow *import
- Then FOLIO should react as follows:
- Navigate the user to the "choose jobs" screen
- And filter the list of jobs to the ones that match the Data Type associated with the File Extension setting (filter options will be MARC, EDIFACT, and/or Delimited)
- Scenario 2
- Given the File upload section of the Data Import landing page and the Data Import File Extension settings
- If a User tries to upload a file with a file extension that is not represented in the Data Import File Extension settings
- Then FOLIO should react as follows:
- Navigate the user to the "choose jobs" screen
- And do not filter the list of jobs; display them all
