Clear Check Out Page When Session Expires

CB NOTE: MIKE TAYLOR DID SOME WORK ON THIS BUT IT IS STILL NOT WORKING PROPERLY. MARKING OPEN AND UNASSIGNING. ALSO, FYI, IT LOOKS LIKE THE CHECKOUT SESSION TIMES OUT EVEN IF YOU HAVE SET IT NOT TO DO SO IN SETTINGS (THIS IS BAD)

Purpose: FOLIO apps, including the Check out app, retain state. To mitigate risk of accidental checkout to the wrong patron, we plan to implement a session timeout setting for Checkout.

Scenarios:

1. Scenario
   • Given Settings > Circulation > Other settings with
     • Automatically end checkout session after period of inactivity = Yes
     • Minutes of inactivity = X
   • When a check out session FOLIO has been inactive for X minutes
   • Then the session should be ended meaning:
     • Any patron or item displaying on the page should be cleared
     • You must select a new patron before you can check out additional items
2. Scenario
   • Given Settings > Circulation > Other settings with
     • Automatically end checkout session after period of inactivity = No
   • When a check out session FOLIO has been inactive for any period of time
   • Then the session should not end
   • If there is a FOLIO-wide inactivity timeout (not sure if there is or not) that will still apply
