    Description

Purpose: The check in app has been extended to bundle multiple loans/items on a single notice, such as a check in receipt. In order to do this, we need to expire the session - either when a user clicks the "End session" button or due to inactivity (or when a user closes the browser or closes the tab).

      Scenarios:

      1. Scenario 1
        • Given Settings > Circulation
        • When "Other settings" is selected
        • Then change "Automatically end checkout session after period of inactivity" to "Automatically end check in and check out session after period of inactivity"
      2. Scenario 2
        • Given Settings > Circulation > Other settings with
          • Automatically end check in and check out session after period of inactivity = Yes
          • Minutes of inactivity = X
        • When a check in session has been inactive for X minutes
        • Then the session should be ended (Already works)
        • And check in patron notices should be sent Already works)
        • And any items displaying on the page should be cleared
      3. Scenario 3
        • Given Settings > Circulation > Other settings with
          • Automatically end check in and check out session after period of inactivity = No
        • When a check in session has been inactive for any period of time
        • Then the session should not end (please verify)
