Description
Each time an user used the criteria "Contains" to make a search, the first dropdown menu (with the list of all indexes available in MARCcat) will show 'active' only the following indexes:
- Title
- Name: all
- Subject: all
- All MARC fields
and you need another one that is: Publisher (that will correspond to PW in case of Contains search and to PU in case of "Begins with")
all other indexes must be disabled, because (for example):
if I search "Name: Personal" contains "Aureliano", the CCL search done by the system is the following: "NW contains Aureliano".
This means that I'm searching Aureliano in any kind of NAME, like Personal, Corporate and Meeting and not only in PERSONAL name. So, to be consistent, only the general indexes (for each category of tag), previously listed in this issue must be active if the user select "Contains".
