    Description

The "items" functionality is provided by two backend modules, both of them part of the mod-metadata git repo.

The higher-level one is called inventory, and it's what we should be using as it contains some business logic – crucially, including the ability to join Item records to their associated Instance records.

But since that is written in Groovy and build using Gradle, I couldn't face trying to learn a new tool-stack before I could start work on the UI stuff, so the present Items UI module goes straight to the underlying RMB-based inventory-storage, which is easier to build.

I should face the Groovy demons, get that module built and running, and retarget the Items UI module to it.
