      Description

      Purpose: Detect where additional staffing or changes to workflow are needed. Used for annual library statistics, staffing adjustments at service points.

      It is a report on number of circulation transactions by service-point and transaction type, with time aggregated to date, day of week, and hour of day. Can also be filtered to a particular date range (either a full year or a smaller date range, as needed). Alternately could be aggregated to transaction count per week. Alternately could be filtered to a single service-point. This report can be used to report weekly statistics over a full year or to review hourly statistics for a shorter time period to review staffing needs.
