Description
In Q1 we support export of up to 64k UUIDs. However, there is no way to know the exact number of records returned by the search (the one displayed is just approximation) the user will most likely export more records. In Bugfest environment the record count estimation was more than 10,000 records when in fact there were more than 1M records. As a result mod-inventory run OOM.
Volume of data:
- 1 to 10 users
- 10k to 100k records
Steps for testing:
- Navigate to inventory search
- Conduct search that will return large number of records
- Under Actions menu click the option “Save instances UUIDs”
Since we are establishing a base line I'm not sure what should be expected response time.
