Description
There are signs of a memory leak in mod-circulation in bhs1 in past check-in-check-out tests. Attached is a mod-circulation memory utilization diagram from the longevity check-in-check-out test that was run for 8 hours. As seen, the memory consumption increased gradually and finally crashed out at the end of the test run.
Investigate the memory leaks by running the check-in-check-out test on bhs1 with 8 or more virtual users (the more users the faster the memory utilization accumulates). Try to get the memory up as high as possible and start taking heap dumps once the memory consumption level reaches 120% or above. Analyze heap dump.
If mod-circulation has made recent releases or updates to the code, install the latest version and rerun the tests, taking heap dumps to see if the problem persists.
