      Background: Kafka is the process used by most workflows that interact with SRS/SRM/data import.

      Requirement: For the edit quickMARC bib record flow replace use of pubsub with Kafka. Support QM_INVENTORY_INSTANCE_UPDATED and QM_ERROR events.

      Acceptance criteria

      • No change in current User Experience
      • No decrease in performance compared to use of pubsub
      • Applicable tests are updated
