    Description

      Purpose: To associate the 003 of the incoming record with the former 001, which has been moved to an 035 field

      User story statement(s):

      As a staff member working with data import
      I want the MARC 003 to move to an 035 field along with the 001 when creating a new SRS MARC record
      so that I will understand the source of that 035, and not have a misleading 003 field in the SRS MARC

      Scenarios:

      1. Scenario 1
        • Given a MARC record that is being newly-created in SRS
        • When a new 035 field is being created to move the existing 001 into (so that the Instance HRID can be put into the SRS 001 field)
        • Then for the 003 field of the SRS record
          • Move it to the beginning of the newly-created 035 field and put it into parentheses (e.g. 001= 12345 and 003 = fod becomes 035 = (fod)12345\
          • See attachments for an example of a MARC record before import, then with current and new and 001/003/035 manipulation after import. The attached MARC file can be used for testing
