      Description

      Purpose: When orders are opened they are potentially connected to instances based on Invalid identifiers. These identifiers are added to the instance record for context but should not be used to match order lines to these instances. This will often result in a print record being attached to an order for electronic material or vice versa.

      User story statement(s):

      As an acquisitions librarian,
      I want order<>instance matching to ignore invalid identifiers
      so that orders are less frequently connected to the wrong instance records

      Steps to reproduce:

      • Log in to a folio environment
      • Duplicate an instance record with one ISBN
      • Add a second ISBN to both instance records
      • Make sure for instance 1, ISBN 1 is valid and ISBN 2 is invalid
      • Make sure for instance 2, ISBN 1 is Invalid and ISBN 2 is valid (Opposite)
      • Create an order
      • add a POL with ONLY ISBN 2 (DO NOT connect instance)
      • Create inventory setting must include "Instance"
      • Open order

      Expected: POL is connected to instance 2 because for this instance ISBN 2 is valid

      Actual: POL is connected to Instance 1 even though ISBN 2 is invalid
