Description
Overview: If you create a POL with one of several types of ID types (at least LCCN, Report number, or System number), you can't save the POL
Steps to Reproduce:
- Version 1
- Log into FOLIO-snapshot as diku_admin
- Go to Inventory and create a new instance with at least one ID with one of the ID types highlighted in the attached screenshot
- Go to the order app
- Create a PO
- Create a POL and search for the Instance you just created to use to populate the bib data into the order. Make sure it populates the Product IDs also
- Fill in all the rest of the required POL info.
- Try to save the POL
Steps to Reproduce:
- Version 2
- Log into FOLIO-snapshot as diku_admin
- Go to the order app
- Create a PO
- Create a POL and put in some bibliographic information. Include at least one Product ID with Product ID type that is highlighted in the attached screenshot. Fill in all the rest of the required POL info.
- Try to save the POL
Steps to Reproduce:
- Version 3
- Log into FOLIO-snapshot as diku_admin
- Go to the order app
- Finding a pending PO with a pending POL
- Edit the POL to add a Product ID with one of the highlighted product ID types in the attached screenshot
- Try to save the POL
Expected Results: The POL should be saved
Actual Results: The POL is not saved, and there's no error message.
Additional Information: Craig did some triage, and it looks like these Product ID types may be causing some sort of inventory-related problem when you try to save the POL. Non-highlighted Product ID types do not cause problems.
