Field mappings: Item - Item status update date - CREATE and UPDATE

Purpose: To assign the Item status update date and time when an Item record is being created or updated

As a staff person working with data import
I want the item status updated date to be assigned when an item record is created or the item status field in an existing item record is updated
So that the Data import behavior matches existing Inventory behavior

Scenarios

1. Scenario 1
   • Given the Data import action = Create item
   • When the Inventory item record is created
   • And the Item status is first created
   • Then assign an "item status updated" date and time below the item status that matches the item record's updated date and time in the item record's metadata accordion
   • NOTE: Since item record always must have an item status, then any newly-created item will automatically have an item status and and item status update date and time
2. Scenario 2
   • Given the Data import action = Update item
   • And there is not a mapping in the Item field mapping profile for item status
   • When the Inventory item record is updated
   • Then update the item record's updated date and time in the item record's metadata accordion
   • But do not update the "item status updated" date and time below the item status
3. Scenario 3
   • Given the Data import action = Update item
   • And there is a mapping in the Item field mapping profile for item status
   • When the Inventory item record is updated
   • Then update the item record's updated date and time in the item record's metadata accordion
   • And update the "item status updated" date and time below the item status

NOTE:

• This only shows on the Item View detail screen, not the Create/Edit screen
