INN-Reach uses a flat location structure that does not distinguish between branches ("libraries" in FOLIO), shelving locations ("locations" in FOLIO) or service points. Therefore, the FOLIO system administrator or other user with appropriate permissions must provide a mapping between these records in FOLIO and an INN-Reach compatible code/description combination. The available INN-Reach location code/description options should be loaded/managed as reference data by a user with appropriate permissions and referenced by ID in the mapping model
- Data is configured at the Tenant level, and is shared for all central servers configured (in contrast with the FOLIO Location to INN-Reach location mapping, which is by central server)
- Consists of:
- INN-Reach location code: limit five (5) lower-case alphanumeric characters
- INN-Reach location description: limited to 255 characters
- AC: Can CRUD new locations in the database.
