Description
Overview
User requires the ability to efficiently control spending against multiple funds at times throughout the fiscal year.
Status of the ledger will be inherited by associated Funds, when changed.
Status of Funds will be inherited by associated Budgets - for the current Fiscal Year - when fund status is changed.
Specifically:
- When changing the status of a ledger to Inactive all related Funds will have their status updated to 'inactive'
- When changing the status of a Fund to 'inactive' the current fiscal year budget status will also be changed to inactive
Approach
Perform the necessary changes within a database transaction to ensure consistency across the related records.
Acceptance Criteria:
- Status changes described above are implemented
- Unit test are updated
