      Description

      Purpose/Overview:

Third party systems * should be able provide fund code and expense class in one field separated by special character (*TBD)

      Requirements/Scope:

      1. Don't allow the creation of a fund code or expense class code with the special character ":"
      2. Existing Expense class codes and Fund codes should be updated to replace the special character

      Approach:

      • Update schema json file with pattern
      • Migration script for Expense class code:
        • Replace colon ":" with hypen "-"
        • Any empty codes will be populated with expense class name
        • Make the code required
      • Migration script for Fund code:
        • Replace colon ":" with hypen "-"
        • Need to update codes in Finance, order and Invoice as well

      Acceptance criteria:

      • Schema json updated
      • Migration script created
