Description
Purpose:
We have future development planned for FOLIO to PULL the renewal notes from the FOLIO PO Line to the EBSCONET Renewal Cart.
Use Case:
Several customers have shared that their “Selectors” will add Renewal Instructions in the Renewal Notes field in Alma for the “Acquisitions Librarian” to review during the renewal seasion. They have advised it would be very useful if the renewal instructions from their Selectors could be viewable in EBSCONET.
Requirements:
- Add renewalNote field to POL (Always editable in POL, not repeatable)
- Allow EBSCONET to GET renewal note field
- Allow EBSCONET to UPDATE renewal note field
Approach:
Update POL schema
Update EBSCONET APIs to include "renewalNote"
Acceptance criteria:
- When updating order line through EBSCONET user can apply changes to renewal note
- When using GET to retrieve POL information EBSCONET can retrieve the renewalNote data.
