    Description

Summary: The Data Import app is not working on Morning Glory Bugfest

Workaround: None. No importing can be done except Inventory Single Record Imports that update an existing Instance.

      Steps to Reproduce:

      Scenario 1

      1. Log into MG Bugfest
      2. Go to Data Import
      3. Upload a small MARC Bib file. Make sure the file DOES NOT have any 999 ff fields (sample file attached)
      4. Select the *Default - Create instance and SRS MARC Bib* job profile and run the job
      5. Wait; watch the "Running" section on the Data Import landing page to see if the job ever finishes, and the card disappears

      Scenario 2

      1. Log into MG Bugfest
      2. Go to Data Import
      3. Upload a small MARC Authority file. Make sure the file DOES NOT have any 999 ff fields (sample file attached)
      4. Select the *Default - Create SRS MARC Authority* job profile and run the job
      5. Wait; watch the "Running" section on the Data Import landing page to see if the job ever finishes, and the card disappears

      Scenario 3

      1. Log into MG Bugfest
      2. Go to Inventory
      3. Go to Actions/Import
      4. Change the Source from Library of Congress to OCLC WorldCat
      5. Enter the value 1234567
      6. Wait
      7. If you get a red toast: Record has been queued for import, but is not yet available, then go to the Data Import app
      8. Look in the "Running" section of the Data Import landing page, and find the card that says Inventory Single Record and was triggered by you a minute or two ago
      9. Select the *Default - Create SRS MARC Authority* job profile and run the job
      10. Wait; watch the "Running" section on the Data Import landing page to see if the job ever finishes, and the card disappears

      Expected Results:

      • Scenarios 1-2: The running card disappears and the log for the imported file appears at the top of the log on the Data Import landing page
      • Scenario 3:
        • The new Instance appears in Inventory
        • The running card disappears and the log for the imported file appears at the top of the Actions/View all page (NOT the Landing page)

      Actual Results:

      • No jobs complete

      NOTES

      • Jobs run with the Inventory Single Record - Default Update Instance will complete, but no others
      • Two full reindexings were run on 10 and 11 August. No import (other than the above exception) has completed successfully since mid-day on 10 August
      • Per Kitfox, the DI problem is not the result of any modules being stopped or the reindexing.
      • Per Kitfox, Folijet needs to triage. Kitfox can help with providing logs
