    Description

      This is the umbrella for UDPATE Stories, when the incoming record is a MARC Holdings record. Stories for each FOLIO record type are linked to this umbrella

      UPDATE = completely overlay a record of the specified FOLIO type, using the associated mapping profile, which consists of 1) data as mapped from the incoming record (MARC Holdings) and 2) defaults inserted into the record. Note that a few fields of the existing record (mainly HRID and UUID) will not be replaced

      Applies to these record types covered by Data import:

      • Inventory holdings (MARC holdings input in this umbrella, MARC bib input in a separate umbrella MODDATAIMP-204)
