Items marked as missing not being filtered in circ log

Overview:
Steps to Reproduce 1:

1. Log into Lotus bugfest
2. Find or create a User with at least one item Checked out and Claimed returned
3. Click on Open loans
4. Click on a claimed returned item
5. Click on the Resolve claim dropdown
6. Select Mark as missing
7. Enter test description and click Confirm
8. Copy item barcode
9. Open the Circulation log app by clicking on it in the toolbar or App dropdown
10. Expand the Loans filter by clicking on it
11. Select Marked as missing

Expected Results: The item you checked out should appear in the circulation log table, with Marked as missing in the Circ action column.
Actual Results: There are no circ log results OR this item does not surface in results

Steps to Reproduce 2:

1. Log into Lotus bugfest
2. Find or create a User with at least one item Checked out and Claimed returned
3. Click on Open loans
4. Click on a claimed returned item
5. Click on the Resolve claim dropdown
6. Select Mark as missing
7. Enter test description and click Confirm
8. Copy item barcode
9. Open the Circulation log app by clicking on it in the toolbar or App dropdown
10. Paste the item barcode into the item barcode filter

Expected Results: The item you checked out should appear in the circulation log table, with Marked as missing in the Circ action column. 
Actual results: It says Checked out in the Circ action column
