    Description

      Purpose: Populate test User data to enable development progress. This is not the library Batch User Import workflow or the Automation feature shown in the prototype.

      • Ability to import users from from flat file (XML or JSON?) of defined format (no UI)
      • Data for import file include (at minimum):
        • First Name
        • Last Name
        • Username
        • Password
        • Type
        • Patron Group
        • Staff Member Permission(s)*
      • Username must be unique
      • Type must contain Patron or Staff
      • Staff Member Permission(s) - Can be multiple

      *Discuss with team whether/how it makes sense to include these at this time

      Out of Scope:

      • Handling of large files - this is about just loading in a small set of test data (that said - this should already be handled)
